When I first started this paper, it took me a couple days to decide what I really want to write about as the topic was to write about a belief that you no longer have, or a belief that has changed significantly over time. I was stuck between the Tooth Fairy and love at first sight but I eventually decided to stick with Tooth Fairy as I remembered a lot of stuff I used to do in the past when I believed that it was real. Now that I finally decided on what I wanted to write, I then made a google doc and wrote out what each page should look like. For example when I made that google doc, I wrote that the first page should be the introduction, the second page should be the planning, the third page should be the plan goes into effect and the fourth page is the realization that the Tooth Fairy was never real.
After completing the google doc, I then went on to formulate my first rough draft about how my belief in the Tooth Fairy changed over time. When writing this I would have trouble concentrating as I would start to blank out sometimes as I would type and then it would require me to retrace my thoughts which would usually take a while. When the first draft was completed, I then submitted my draft on BlackBoard to get my paper reviewed by my classmates to see if they have anything they could help me out with or point out some stuff I didn’t include. Once that was done, I then went to revise my paper and I would repeat this process two more times until it became the final draft.
This paper showcases my learning because as stated in the Achievements page, I learned how to develop drafting, collaborating, revising and editing and this process can be seen through the peer reviews. This was the first paper to be assigned too so the process of making these drafts was somewhat difficult but as I progressed to the last paper, it got easier.
